May 2019 Core Meeting Minutes

Blessings to all our ACTS Community,

Attached (click on link below) for your review are the MAY 2019 CORE MEETING MINUTES.

The Woman’s retreat is almost here and the women’s team has been busy preparing to bring about another spirit-filled retreat.

Thank you to all the Community who showed up to the breakfast fundraiser at Applebee’s on Cinco de Mayo (May 5th), your participation and support will make it possible to offer a few scholarships to women who need the financial support in order to attend the Retreat.

Please continue to pray for our Sisters serving on team and for the Retreatants who will be attending.  Also, be sure to join us on Wednesday, May 22nd for the passing of the Candle Ceremony, it will take place at the Father Simon Center (bungalow) at 8 PM  – but be there between 7:00 to 7:15 P.M. for rehearsal.

Some wonderful news is that Brother Henry Castillo has accepted the Holy Spirit’s invitation to serve as Director for the Men’s ACTS Retreat taking place in September 2019.  We will share more information once he selects his Director’s team.  Please keep him and his family in your prayers as well.

We continue with our Mission of the 72 Fundraiser efforts, we hope your will be moved by the Holy Spirit to want to be one of the 72 ACTS Brothers/Sisters (disciples) willing to contribute $10.00 per month for 12 months in order to support the Men’s and Women’s Retreats.  For more information contact Sister Marcella Martinez (661) 964-9250.
