Passing of the Candle

Dear Parish Community,

The Women’s ACTS Retreat is fast approaching and we ask that you include the ACTS team in your prayers along with prayers for the retreatants who will be joining our Parish Community.
The first send-off activity, the Passing of the Candle ceremony, will take place on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. We encourage the entire Community to come together as one body in Christ for this very special evening in which we will raise our Sisters up to our Lord most high as they will receive the candle and blessing from the previous ACTS Directors Retreat Team. We will gather as a community in the Garden of the St. Ferdinand Church at 6:25 pm to prepare our spirit and practice some songs including the Retreat Team Theme song “Woman at the Well”. We will wear our blue ACTS shirts or something blue if you don’t have one. We want our Sisters to feel our love and support as we come together as a community forming “One body in Christ our Lord”. We thank you in advance for your participation and look forward to seeing you.
