April 2019 Core Meeting Minutes
Blessings to all ACTS Brothers and Sisters in this most Holy Week,
Attached for your review are the ACTS APRIL CORE MEETING MINUTES. As always, there are a lot of good things going on in our Community; in just the last couple of weeks we went together to see the movie “Unplanned”, we also had a beautiful Lenten Day of Reflection at the Father Simon Center, and this past Friday we gathered together at St. Ferdinand’s for the ACTS-led Stations of the Cross.
We also met with our ACTS Women’s Retreat Director and Co-Directors to discuss ways Core can be more supportive of them during their formation/planning meeting; it was a very productive meeting and we have a lot of plans for being more proactive and supportive.
We are preparing to select a Director for the Men’s Retreat to be held in September and we are inviting our Community to submit nominations of men with strong leadership skills who are in good standing with our Church to lead the next Retreat. If you would like to nominate someone please reach out to ACTS Core Co-Facilitator, Joe Torres and share with him your nominations.
We are gearing up for the Mission of the 72, a fundraiser designed for 72 members of our community to donate $10.00 per month for 12 months to fundraise for the retreats – we hope we can count of many of you for this.
