Article Submissions

Have an article or reflection that you would like to share on our blog? We’d love to read it! Our blog consists of writings from contributors like you. We do have a few guidelines as to what can be posted. Please review our guidelines below and if you feel your article or reflection meets the criteria, use the form below to submit it for approval.

    Submission Guidelines

    Should your submission be approved you will be granting us permission to post it on our blog as well as to share it through our social media channels and in our email newsletters.

    • You must have rights to the submission and it must be written by you.
    • Writers must be Catholics and preferably have attended an ACTS retreat.
    • Submissions must be free from doctrinal errors and in accord with the teaching of the Catholic Church. When in doubt, check the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
    • If you use passages from the Bible, please use the New American Bible Revised Edition available online at the USCCB website.
    • We prefer a length of 500-1000 words.
    • No compensation of any type is provided.
    • Our blog is a place for building people up, not tearing people down. Be respectful and don’t use inflammatory language, vulgarity, or obscenity.
    • Links to other websites must meet our criteria and may be removed from your submission.
    • We reserve the right to publish or remove your article or reflection at our discretion without prior notice.
    • Please edit your submission by using spell-check.

    As part of your submission we request the following personal information for the author’s bio section which will appear either above or below your article or reflection once it is published.

    • 2-3 Sentence Bio

    *Although we request your email address, it will not be made public on the website. It is for our communications with you only.

    Topic Suggestions

    • Try writing about things related to the four pillars of ACTS: adoration, community, theology and service.
    • Share from your own personal experiences.
    • Reflections based on the Sunday readings, passages from Scripture, or questions of morality or faith are encouraged.
